The positions on the Board are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and 4 Directors-at-large.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President is the chairman of the Board and presides at all meetings unless otherwise designated.&nbsp; In their absence the Vice-President performs the duties of the president. The Secretary is responsible for keeping official records of the corporation and the Treasurer keeps the corporation&#8217;s accounting records.&nbsp; The Directors including the 4 Directors-at-large are assigned responsibilities as required to operate the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the present time (as of March 2025) the VP has the lead responsibility for operation of the Bar.&nbsp; The Directors-at-Large lead responsibilities are divided into 4 key areas &#8211; Curling Match Director, Squash Director, Ice and Property and Communications.&nbsp; Each year, once the new Board is elected the lead responsibilities are mutually agreed by the board of directors &#8211; it should be noted that these responsibilities can be further delegated to non-board members and\/or committees as required to operate the club.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current Board Members are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President &#8211; Chris Knight<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vice-President &#8211; Toban Verdun (includes lead responsibilities for Bar Operations)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Secretary &#8211; Charlene Brennan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Treasurer &#8211; Chris Moore<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director-at-Large &#8211; Bill Shorter (Ice and Property)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director-at-Large &#8211; Terry Vandenberghe (Communications)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director-at-Large &#8211; Mike Moore (Squash)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director-at-Large &#8211; Colleen Berube (Curling Match)&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deep River Curling and Squash Club (DRCSC) Board of Directors The Board of the DRCSC is elected annually and consists of 8 Directors.
